10 innovative startups selected for Boston roadshow
The Venture Leaders Biotech program takes the selected 10 companies to Boston from June 23-27 as part of the Swiss National Startup Team. During their roadshow, the entrepreneurs will connect with international investors and industry leaders, acquiring expertise to help scale their ventures. The Venture Leaders Biotech, which collectively showcases the dynamic potential and diversity of Switzerland’s biotech ecosystem, kick-off the program pitching at the Swiss Biotech Day in Basel on May 5, 2025. We congratulate our members Amporin Pharmaceuticals, ATLyphe, Aukera Therapeutics, Enantios, Encelta, InkVivo Technologies, Juvion Life Sciences, and Nerai Bioscience. Of course our congratulations also go to Abrinca, and HemostOD.
Call for projects
Life Science Industry Accelerator
The European Space Agency and the Institute for Space Medicine and Physiology just opened their 2nd call for projects. This initiative aims to support commercial applications of space and to expand the use of new space services to new industrial application markets by European industry. The Accelerator program provides advanced technical and business support as well as co-funding to help applicants to benefit from the unique features of the space environment and especially microgravity. Submit your project by June 30 here.

CHF 25,000 scholarship for healthcare innovators

The Swiss Institute for Translational and Entrepreneurial Medicine (sitem-insel) is offering scholarships worth up to CHF 25,000 for their two-year, part-time MAS in Translational Medicine and Biomedical Entrepreneurship at the University of Bern.
