Biotechnology can help drive the transition toward sustainable manufacturing and a circular economy, but realizing this potential requires the right talent. Switzerland can build on its strengths in medical and industrial biotechnology, cross-industry innovation, and digital technologies. The next generation of biotech pioneers will need to combine expertise in science, engineering, and digital innovation with entrepreneurial and translational thinking to turn new ideas into sustainable solutions.
