Switzerland’s science industries hit a new export record in 2024
According to the new Swiss Biotech Report 2025, Switzerland's life sciences sector continues to drive the nation's economic success, contributing CHF 149 billion (52% of total exports) in 2024 despite challenging global conditions. The immunologicals subsector shows exceptional growth, now accounting for 18.5% of Swiss exports and 32.2% of export growth over 25 years. This success can be attributed to Switzerland's unique ecosystem with favorable regulations, a world-class research infrastructure, a strong talent pool, and strong international networks. Read more
